Love these little sculptural mountains by Aaron Moran, showing how little scraps of wood along with a touch of colour can be really beautiful!

All My Forgotton Dreams.

Erin O'Keefe explores the relationship between two dimensional and three dimensional space. She contructs installations that incorporate personal and familiar places which she describes as 'memory architecture - a space of fragmentary dreams and possible lives'. Great inspiration.

My House.

While exploring the possibilities of the cube and transition between 2d and 3d form, I also want to draw on my own personal environment and space. I have been creating nets, that become more complex and organic the more they are deconstructed and reformed. Here I have begun to add simple geometric shapes onto each side of the cube reflecting the shapes of my house. These would never be seen in the below formation unless there were 6 cubes. I like how the elements are abstracted in the 2d form and the way it forms a game as you try to reconstruct the image.

Nagi.

So slick and beautiful. Nagi is a collaboration between Mikaya Kobayashi and Fuji Furniture who specialise in moulding plywood. I love the Scandinavian and classic retro style.

Perfect Imperfections.

Spent a few days in Sheffield as I had a couple of meetings to attend, so tried to make the most of some time at home, photographing and recording the space and the objects within it. I like to capture the everyday things that you might normally take for granted, they help to capture the personality and characters of the house and the people within it.

Toffee-Nosed!

Now Jesse is getting on we give her (him) the odd treat or two! This is just after she'd enjoyed finishing off the rest of our toffee ice cream!

Minute Details.

I absolutely love Maria Hatling's work! It has a really personal undercurrent, just like mine and explores her childhood and memories of growing up in Scandinavia. She unites contemporary elements with tradition and technology with handcrafted imagery. It's perfect!
