Nanna Van Blaaderen.

Gorgeous gentle and sensual styling starring the wonderful creations of Nanna van Blaaderen. I love the way these pieces combine chunky and characterful textures with a soft sculptural craft aesthetic.

Nordic Blush.

Nordic charm unites with dreamy femininity for this lovely playful shoot by Rodarte for Opening Ceremony. Loving the soft dusty-minty tones with punctuations of ochre, raspberry and cerulean.

Home from Home.

These lifestyle and interior shots by Johnny Miller are devine!
Great inspiration for my upcoming photoshoot.

Electric Feathers.

Yes the sun keeps trying to make an appearance but I am dreaming of the kind of sunshine where I can spend the days in nothing but bare feet and these lovely lazy summer dresses. Electric Feathers I'll take them all! Come on British skies...surprise us!

Simple.Playful.Style.

I'm in the process of organising a photoshoot to showcase my latest designs, so have been gathering inspiration and styling ideas that capture a balance between contemporary playfullness and crafted tradition. I am really liking the quirky elements within these photos by BDDW. The cute animal additions and portraits add a lovely personal quality to the photos, whilst the furniture still remains the focus of the image. Luckily I already have plenty of flea market finds I can use in the styling! No problemo!

Culture Clash.

The styling of this shoot is weird and wonderful, but there is something really beautiful about these images. I think it is the way Charlotte Taylor uses traditional references and the clash of many cultural influences. This combined with the bold quirky prints and jewel like colours means sometimes more is more!
