I am in Love...

I have the most perfect spot for a beautiful Finn Juhl sofa. I love the work of many Danish designers, but Juhl could possibly be my favourite. The playful use of colour and organic forms still look really contemporary today....I just need to get saving, yet again!

Cube Living

Recently I have become fascinated with the idea of cube living and this Japanese design epitomises the idea of utilising space and living economically.

Old English Technology...

I love this mix of traditional and raw materials with super duper brand new technology by Marlies Romberg. They create a statement about the pace at which the digital world is changing and how these pieces, meet the demands of technology today but also create an opportunity for nostalgia. The real world and digital world are fast becoming entwined.

Field Day

On my current wish list is one of these wonderful geometric Land Rugs by Florian Pucher...Must save pennies!

A Touch of Summer...

On this rainy summer August day I needed a reminder of what sunshine looks like! More wonderful works and colour compositions by Serena Mitnik Miller!

Droplets of Colour

If only I had found the work of Serena Mitnik Miller a little earlier. I used wooden blocks to help form the prints in my latest project, however, I still feel I can push this process much further as illustrated here. The beautiful layers of colours in her watercolour paintings create bubbles of three dimensional textures.

The Wonderful World of Grégoire Alexandre

I love the use of colour and clever compositions of Grégoire Alexandre. I particularly like the way people are incorporated into the images, helping to create the pattern and formation.

Paper.Scissors.(Wood).Stone

So the time has come to start having a little think about my next project... after seeing these lovely, seemingly delicate paper-wood chairs by Drill Design I feel really inspired to try and incorporate wood into my practice, experimenting with the different ways colour could be combined with the raw, natural qualities of wood.

Simply Perfect

Even the most practical of designs can be extremely beautiful, by Artemy Lebedev.
