I love Sandra Bucklund's knitted and crocheted designs. They’re so innovative and a great change from the modern fashion we mostly see today. You can clearly see the muscular and skeletal references to the body, which accent the silhouette. She says she approaches fashion more like a sculptor than a tailor, which is really evident in her work. The hand crafted approach is also significant as it allows for more experimentation with materials and techniques. I admire the entwining of art and craft with fashion.
